Grenelefe – Board Meeting

A board meeting is a scheduled session where the association’s elected directors discuss and decide on community matters; members (non-board homeowners) DO NOT VOTE but may provide feedback to the board.

Meeting Schedule

The board meets every other month on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM. These meetings are a great opportunity to discuss community updates, address concerns, and collaborate on future projects.

Guidelines for non-board Members

  • Remain Respectful: Address others politely and stick to the issues.
  • Speak When Recognized: During the homeowner comment period or if the chair invites input.
  • Stay on Topic: Focus on the agenda items or relevant community concerns.
  • Mind Time Limits: Each speaker may have a set time to ensure everyone can participate.
  • Avoid Personal Disputes: Private matters or personal conflicts should be addressed outside the formal meeting.

    • Meeting officially begins; time is noted.
  2. Roll Call / Quorum Check
    • Board members present are noted; confirm a quorum.
  3. Approval of Previous Minutes
    • Brief review and approval of last meeting’s minutes.
  4. Reports
    • Treasurer/Financial Update
    • Committee Updates (if any)
  5. Old Business
    • Brief updates on pending items from previous meetings.
  6. New Business
    • Introduction of new topics or proposals; discussion and any necessary votes.
  7. Homeowner Comments
    • Homeowners may speak briefly; typically limited time per person.
  8. Adjournment
    • Meeting concludes; end time noted.
